The souvenir
The souvenir represents the division between Chatham and the historical dockyards. The battleship figurehead is the centre of Chatham. The spinner's splattered black trail expresses the dilapidated area that surrounds the Dockyard. Spinners were toys that were historically used on ships to keep the crew entertained on their travels.
